Hatte Star Wars wirklich einen Reboot nötig? War das Franchise eingeschlafen? Schon allein der Gedanke an ein Star Wars Reboot fühlt sich grausam an.
Vor Kurzem hat JJ Abrams gesagt, er hätte in seinen Star Wars Film deshalb so viele Referenzen an Episode 4 eingebaut, um einer neuen Generation, die Star Wars nicht kennt, den Einstieg zu ermöglichen. Damit rechtfertigt er tatsächlich seinen Star Wars Reeboot? Ich denke, das ist eine Ausrede, um seinen mangelnden Ideenreichtum und seinen nicht vorhandenen Mut, die Saga konsequent fortzusetzen, zu kaschieren. Wer ein eifriger Besucher diverser Fantasy und Scifi Cons ist, weiß, dass selbst Kinder, die bei der Veröffentlichung von Episode 3 im Jahr 2005 noch nicht geboren waren, die alten Filme kennen. Sie kennen die klassische Trilogie zumindest genauso gut, wie ihre Eltern, die nicht selten selber Fans sind. Es war also nicht nötig, dieselbe Geschichte neu zu erzählen. Und selbst wenn Abrams recht hat, so hätte er dennoch unrecht. Warum? Spätestens wenn die Kinder, die vor Episode 7 angeblich noch keinen Star Wars Film gesehen haben – glaubt er das wirklich? – sich die alten Filme ansehen, werden sie feststellen dass sie mit Episode ein Remake erhalten haben.
Nein, ein Reboot war unnötig! Unnötig! Verdammt unnötig und peinlich! Man gewinnt den Eindruck, man habe einen Fanfilm gesehen, der unter dem Motto steht: meine liebsten Star Wars Momente, zusammengefasst und teuer produziert von Disney.

Recently JJ Abrams has said, he had put into his Star Wars movie so many references to episode 4, in order to enable a new generation, to enter Star Wars who does not know the old movies. He justifies his actual Star Wars Reeboot, by using that image. I think that’s an excuse, to hide its lack of inventiveness and his nonexistent courage, to continue the saga consistently.
Who is an avid visitor of various fantasy and scifi cons know, that even children, who were not even born, at the release of Episode 3 in 2005, love the older movies from 1977-1983. They know the classic trilogy as good as their parents, who are often fans too. In Fakt, it was not necessary, to tell the same story again, to give them a stepstone . And even if Abrams is right, he would nevertheless wrong. Why? By the time, children who have never seen a Star Wars movie before Episode 7 (he really believes that?) will watch the old movieslater. They will notice, that, with The Force Awakens, they have received a remake of Episode 4
No, a reboot was unnecessary! Unnecessary! Damn unnecessary and embarrassing! I feel that i hav seen a fan film, which has the theme: my favorite Star Wars moments compilation, expensive produced by Disney.
