Es ist unmöglich Phantasiewelten zu beschreiben, ohne mit beiden Beinen fest auf der Erde zu stehen. Wäre das nicht der Fall, könnte man keine einzige Seite schreiben, die einen Wert besäße oder dem Leser einen Nutzen brächte. Natürlich bewegen mich aktuelle Ereignisse und beeinflussen meine Denkweise. Ich musste gerade in letzter Zeit meine Standpunkte neu überdenken. Ich wäre ein hoffnungsloser Träumer, würde ich nicht in der Lage sein, in einer veränderlichen Welt meinen Schritte neu auszurichten. Der Kurs hingegen bleibt derselbe, sonst käme das einer Kapitulation gleich. Weiterhin den Weg zum Ziel zu gehen, macht es notwendig, so flexibel zu sein, wie der sprichwörtliche Grashalm, in dem abgenutzten Beispiel.

It is impossible to describe fantasy worlds without having both feet firmly on the ground. If that weren’t the case, you couldn’t write a single page that would be of any value or benefit to the reader. Of course, current events move me and influence my way of thinking. I’ve had to rethink my positions recently. I would be a hopeless dreamer if I were not able to redirect my steps in a changing world. The course, however, remains the same, otherwise it would be tantamount to capitulation. Continuing on the path to the goal makes it necessary to be as flexible as the proverbial blade of grass, in the worn example.
